WE ARE MONTPLET

Since our beginnings in 1889, as a warehouse and factory for rectifying alcohols, we have never stopped growing. In 2018, we became Grupo Montplet, integrating Alcoholes and Laboratorios Montplet, and in 2025 EDS (Ethanol Derived Solutions, SLU) was created, the company that encompasses both businesses.

We continue to explore new market opportunities that drive our growth, along with the development of the new Laboratorios Montplet production plant in Barberá del Vallés.

MAXIMUM QUALITY

At Montplet, we carefully oversee the entire production process of our products to achieve the highest level of excellence.

Alcoholes Montplet holds the ISO 22716 certification, is certified by the CCPAE to distribute organic products, and also has a Kosher certification. In addition, we are listed as a supplier of the biocidal active substances Ethanol and IPA in accordance with Article 95 of the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR). We supply alcohol of various grades: food, pharma, eco/organic, and sustainable.

Laboratorios Montplet, meanwhile, holds, among others, the IFS HPC v3 certification, internationally recognized for household and personal care products, as well as the ISO 22716:2008 certification (Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetic Products – GMP), issued by the AEMPS. In addition, we hold Authorizations for Disinfectant Manufacturing Activities (12500-DS) and for Pesticide Manufacturing Activities for Personal Hygiene Use (12500-PL), both also issued by the AEMPS.

We have experienced teams in the areas of Quality, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs, who support our clients throughout all stages of development up to the delivery of the final product.
