OUR COMMITMENTS
Montplet is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for employees, as well as for those who visit or work in our facilities.

The environmental policy approved by Management has made it possible to integrate environmental requirements into regular work processes.

We support, among others, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on Climate Action (SDG 13), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), and Zero Hunger (SDG 2). To this end, we work continuously to reduce our emissions.

Montplet records its energy efficiency, develops projects to reduce water consumption, optimize resources, and measures its carbon footprint. To minimize the environmental impact of its activity, the company carries out various projects in line with its environmental commitments.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Our sustainability strategy includes our purpose of moving towards a circular economy model that transforms waste into resources. We aim to minimize the amount of packaging material we use, without compromising the quality, performance, or safety of our products, and to provide consumers with all the information they need for safe use and proper disposal.

We work together with our suppliers to increase the amount of recycled plastic in our packaging and are committed to ensuring that by 2030 all packaging will be 100% recyclable.

Currently, 100% of the cardboard we use as packaging material comes from recycled material or, when necessary, from fiber sourced from sustainable crops.

To ensure that all packaging waste we place on the market is properly disposed of and recycled, we support collection and recycling initiatives (ECOEMBES). In this way, the waste generated from the packaging placed on the market becomes raw material for the manufacture of new products.

Our goal is also to promote circularity in our operations. To this end, we work to reduce production waste and to reuse or recycle unavoidable waste, minimizing the volume of waste sent to landfills.

100% of the waste generated in our facilities is collected, sorted, and managed by an authorized operator, to enable reuse or recycling, with our objective being zero waste to landfill.

The company holds certifications that demonstrate its commitment to quality and environmental management, and it has a strong will and objectives for continuous improvement.

IFS
Laboratorios Montplet holds the IFS HPC v3 certification, recognized worldwide for household and personal care products. It assesses product and process compliance in relation to consumer product safety and quality.

GMP
It also holds ISO 22716:2008 certification (Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics) and a Certificate of Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics issued by the AEMPS.

These certifications ensure that Montplet has a robust Quality System focused on continuous improvement of our processes, offering a high level of confidence in our services and products.

SUPPLIER CODE OF ETHICS

In this regard, Montplet participates in the evaluation of supply chain suppliers through Ecovadis.

The goal is to ensure that the Group’s work processes are aligned with partner company standards in terms of labor practices and human rights, environment, ethical business practices, and responsible purchasing.
